A wee bit about us...
Founded in 1995 by Kathy Wittenbrink and named in honor of her family’s Irish heritage, Cragan’s continues to be a family business. Our grandmother, Marie Cragan, was always proud of her Irish lineage, and she made sure we were proud of it too! Our original Cragans--James and Brigit-- hailed from the wee town of Croke in County Tipperary
Located steps away from the campus of the University of Notre Dame and the Fighting Irish, Cragan’s offer a wee bit of Ireland in South Bend.
Specializing in handmade articles of timeless beauty and celtic heritage, we offer an array of unique items as individual as the artisans who create them. Our sweaters are handloomed or hand knitted, each one more gorgeous than the next. Our oghams are handhewn by stone carver Paul Patrick Haggins or painted by County Roscommon’s Ethyl Kelly and framed in classic style.
Claddaghs, both traditional and modern, can be found in silver or gold. Looking for the perfect Irish wedding band? Cragan’s has them with emeralds or diamonds, and each is created especially for you on your special day.
To round out your Irish home, we offer fine Irish foods and teas, classic Guinness barware, Wild Goose wall hangings, Belleek and Galway crystal.
